My first experience visiting this place was an immediate 5 star. You can tell everyone enjoys working at their local family business. It's fun to see the work area like other kitchens. The selling point of this place are the extremely fair prices for the 5 star food taste quality. If you were to buy these items at a high end bakery shop in Washington, I'd expect to pay around 50% to 90% more depending on the items. The Nutter Butter sandwiches were a hit for all who tasted it. I liked the cherry cake and chocolate turnover. You can find great pastries at a lot of places throughout the USA, but this place has a real heart and soul. You can tell right away by how the workers interact with customers like me. Thank you for the great experience!

They have the best sweets. It's a small local sweet shop carrying petifours. All of the sweets from their fried pies amd cookie to glasses of fresh locally harvested milk from a glass jug this is a place to sweet your sweet tooth on. I repeatedly come here and it's the only place I know of in town with petifours.

Everyone loves a cookie right? We even swear by home made are the best. This is generally true especially for boxed items in a store, but Southern Confections should be on your A list of approved places to buy a cookie. I would even go as far as to say that you should be okay to go there and have a guilt free splurge of calories because the taste is just amazing. What really irks me though is that I thought I knew what my favorite cookie is. As I checked out with a dozen "no-bake" or "Mississippi mud" cookies I saw a macaroon like cookie. I asked them what it was and they said it was a cookie butter macaroon. I said I would try it and they popped one into my box. In the car I took a bite out of the macaroon. It was so delish. My taste buds were going off like fireworks at Disneyworld. I am now confused as to what my favorite cookie is. TLDR; GO EAT THEIR COOKIES BEFORE COOKIE MONSTER FINDS THEM!

My husband and I were on a road trip this week from IL. Jonesboro was a stop on our drive and we decided to stop in for pasties and coffee. The atmosphere was so inviting and welcoming. The girl helping us pack up our pastries was so sweet and patient with us. Everything I ate was amazing, however my husband who is a lover of cinnamon rolls just told me that if he never has another cinnamon roll in his life, that it's okay because just had the best one. Mind you, we picked these treats up on Wednesday. They still had a ways to travel until we got home. My husband ate his cinnamon roll today (friday) and he said they didn't miss beat making this gem. Thank you all!!!!

First time going into the establishment and Grace made it pleasurable. Turkey bacon Sub sandwich was fresh and delicious. The cookies were hot and straight out the oven... atmosphere was enjoyable as well....Overall experience was a 10/10. Would highly recommend them.

Oh my gosh, this place is amazing! They have Keto friendly choices if that is what you wish! There is a coffee bar and places to sit to enjoy your goodies. Make sure to try their Ooooohy Gooey cookies. You can also call and place orders for pickup so as to get a fresh order! Oh, and try the cinnamon rolls!

Our Church had a Tea Party Sunday afternoon. I thought some things from here would be good for the occasion. I went on Saturday as soon as they opened and I Loaded up. I didn’t even put a dent in the inventory. The Ladies Loved every bit of it. We all enjoyed the goodies to kick off our new Bible Study. The Fried Pies are Delicious too. Yet, I didn’t get those for the Tea and I really should have.Thank you so much for being so kind helping me even when you had a morning rush crowd🧓🏻🙏🏻❤️

Wow!! What a place! I went in for the first time today and was quite pleased with the service I got. The young man at the coffee bar helped explain all their wonderful goodies and then made me a delicious coffee! They make their syrups in house!! Yum! The service is outstanding and the food was delicious! I will be a repeat customer for sure!

Love the breakfast sammie, drive across town for it. The ooey gooey cookie is one of the best cookies I’ve ever had. The staff is always nice. Lunch is also delicious, pimento cheese grilled cheese and Italian flatbread.

I’m a traditionalist and great oatmeal cream pie cookie brings back childhood memories. They have tons of options for whatever your sweet tooth desires.
